We sat the kids down and told the kids that they will not be visiting mom. We said we talked to the lawyer who brought it to court and decided this was best for now. The girls were weepy. Son is angry. But, you had a verbal agreement with mom that the girls could live with her when they got their period. Ah, NO! In what world does that even make sense. They have all gone off by themselves to deal with it. That's OK.
They are home and they are safe.

That must have been so hard for you and your husband and the children. Sending love and peace your way to your family.
I know that was really hard. And that the kids do not really understand whys and wherefores. I hope that in time things will get easier. With bio leaving the area they have to feel torn.
We went to court Monday just to find out it was canceled due to a funeral.
So have to reschedule again. In the meantime the mom has not seen the kids in 2 weeks. It just keeps going on and on.

Wow. I have no idea how y'all deal with that woman. How do you deal with a person who doesn't play by the rules of adult civilization and is willing to use the "nuclear option" with her own children? I'm praying for you all, and her, bless her heart.
Us wicked Step Moms need to unite! In time the kids will realize what is good for them. Keep the chin up. Play with some energy and herbs!
