pamper

Sometime yesterday morning I decided for sanity's sake to think of one minute at a time - and right now everyone is home and safe. That is my mantra. We see the lawyer first thing tomorrow morning and the what ifs are really pointless.

Then I went to Rose's holistic pampering workshop. It was wonderful. I met new friends and caught up with old ones. The time flew by and we left with a bag full of homemade goodies to pamper ourselves with. Youngest made supper and I suggested a movie pampering night. Son and oldest went for the movie part and watched one down stairs and had pop corn. I made some hot cocoa from scratch and added a touch of cayenne pepper, cinnamon and ginger as suggested at my pampering class. It was yummy. Youngest and I watched Flubber. I put the herb filled hot pad on her neck and filled a tub for her feet to soak in. While she soaked I used my miracle grains to cleans my face and then prepared an herbal steam. By the time my face was steamed youngest was done soaking. I clipped her nails and rubbed in moisturizer. Then I soaked my feet. It was a fun night.

Youngest had problems sleeping again and crawled in with me. It seems we're all having those issues.

I was up early this morning and was able to call my parents before the rest of the household woke up. We were able to talk for almost an hour. It felt good.

And thank you dear readers for the support, hugs, good wishes and offers for tea. I may just be calling.

This afternoon oldest and I go to the Thomaston Opera House to see All Shook Up. It should be interesting. I made dinner though instead of going out. I have a ham to put in the oven, scalloped potatoes and green beans all prepped.

I am glad you had a wonderful time at Rose's. I hope you have a good time at the Opera House, you so deserve it. Best of luck tomorrow with the attorney, I send my best prayers that this all works out.
