Dare I say it out loud - youngest has asked if this could be her last year of Girl Scouts. She is tired of the unruly girls and wants to put them behind her. I'm glad she has participated in Girl Scouts and she has had fun over the years. I was willing (Goddess bless me) to be an assistant leader as long as she wanted to belong. But, I've really, really had enough and was dreading any more years. I was a little surprised when she said it - it came out of no where. So, it just looks like I have to cope with a few more months of meetings, field trips and over nights.
I have other commitments I plan to clear in the next few months but, I must talk with key people first before blurting out my departure in a blog.
